Hoxton Penthouses

A Victorian, four-storey former warehouse building located within the South Shoreditch Conservation Area (SSCA) and listed as a Building of Townscape Merit. The development benefits from vistas to Hoxton Square to the north and the City of London to the south.

The renovation involves a two-storey rooftop extension to create two three-bedroom penthouse apartments with south facing roof terraces at fifth floor level.

Each apartment has an unconventional 'upside-down' layout, with the fourth floor providing access and sleeping accommodation and acting as a solid plinth to the more lightweight fifth floor pavilions in which the main living areas are allocated, aiming to maximise outdoor amenity areas and the panoramic view to the city.

The project is aiming to achieve a Level 4 certificate under The Code for Sustainable Homes.
